Reaching the Roma
John and Daralena Bean
Since 2009, Daralena and I have been serving in Slovakia as missionaries. Our present focus is on the Roma Gypsies of our country. They reside in the area known as the Black Hole of Slovakia, where more than 500,000 Roma dwell.
The Roma people are a poverty stricken and marginalized people group found throughout Europe. They lack essential resources, support, and hope for tomorrow. We have spent over a decade engaging them through holistic humanitarian ministry. We specialize in evangelism, church planting and construction, discipleship, leadership training, education, health and hygiene, as well as, humanitarian outreaches.
βOur mission is to build communities of disciples and equip them with the tools they need to sustain healthy ministries for generations to come.β
Strategically serving the Roma
We exist to strategically communicate the gospel to the Roma people.
Purpose
Our mission is to build growing communities of disciples and equip them with the tools they need to sustain healthy ministry into the future.
Mission
Through the efforts of strategic discipleship, faith-based communities will spread throughout the Roma population of Slovakia.
