Jarovnice Project
With over 7,000 Roma, the village of Jarovnince, is the largest Roma settlement in Slovakia. In approximately 1/2 sq. mile, you will find a poverty stricken community with crime, corruption and where there was little to no gospel! BUT GOD!
This village became a burden on the heart of a Roma pastor and his wife, Marek and Ivetka Olah. They went into this village with a desire to share the love of Jesus with hundreds of lost souls. Immediately, people began to follow Jesus and soon there were three strong cell groups filled with new believers. God performed a miracle and funds were provided for the purchase of these 2 buildings shown above. They are now in renovation mode, turning this grocery store and restaurant into a place of worship, teaching and training new believers, as well as children’s ministry, youth services and women’s meetings.
